The 20-some inches of rain we received March 9 and 10 did extensive damage to a couple of our buildings. The gym building and the school building both had about six inches of water standing on the floors during the flood. Consequently, all those floors had to be replaced.
Now, more than seven months later, work on replacing the damaged floors is ongoing. The new floor in the St. Francis Room and the other floors in the gym building are in place. Work on the floors in the school building has begun. It is hard to say when it will all be completed, but we hope to have full use of both buildings some time in November
We thank God that no one was hurt in the flooding and that we will have all new flooring in two of our buildings when the project is completed.
